Second Mission completed, Tarma, following Marco's lead, chose to resign his commission, and similarly stayed on with his compadre after Marco "reconsidered" his resignation. Taking part in the suppression of the second coup, he saved Marco's bacon and made a name for himself. He fought alongside Marco through until the end of this fearsome battle, rising through the ranks with Marco to reach Captain. In the Great War, he found out Marco was selected for the counter offensive against Morden and volunteered for the operation. Here he met and befriended his best friend, Marco.

Even Avatar of Evil is at the same tier due to its size and being one of the largest and likely strongest characters in the series.Ĭharacters also have some decent hax with their weapons such as some degree of Toon Force for literally becoming fat after eating food power-ups, Homing Attack via targeting weapons such as Enemy Chaser, Earth Manipulation for turning grenades into large boulders with a Stone weapon, summoning big falling tablets, creating smoke-screens, etc. Their "Metal Slug" vehicles can easily destroy buildings with a few shots of its cannon and vaporize human beings. When regarding speed, they can easily outrun soldiers and dodge bullets, cannon shells, lasers and meteors. In term of attack potency and durability, every character is Small Building level to Large Building level for destroying tanks, helicopters. Metal Slug is very formidable verse that's far from weak. Later on the series, Marco and Tarma are joined by S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S agents Eri Kasamoto and Fio Germi, as Morden makes an allegiance with an alien race and other military groups.
